Spirit Talk: Newborn – 12 months
These are written to be read to your child. Children love the sound of an adult’s voice, and the positive themes create a nurturing, empowering bond between the two of you.

The world is an illusion of mine, one that I create to feel comfortable along my journey.  I see it through my eyes and heart, and yet, I find myself believing in the illusion, thinking that you see the same thing I see.  I want to help you create your independent view of the world.  As you grow and start to become aware of how you experience your own emotions, I want to remember to let you take responsibility for how you react, as I continually learn to take responsibility for my own emotions and reactions.  It sounds so easy, and yet there are times when what you do triggers me.  I need to remember that you are aware of my energy, even more so than I am.  You feel what I feel, even if I don’t express it.  I am doing my best to encourage that sensitivity, without teaching you to take responsibility for how others feel.  I love you so very much.
