Listen to the children

I just watched a YouTube video with the Agape International Children’s Choir performing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show prior to the election. Their song was "Your vote can change my world." 

Children understand this is an important time in our country’s history. Encourage them to think about what’s happening by talking about the election.

Ask them what they think about their world and the greater world. What do they see when they watch the nation’s reaction to this presidential election?

Most important, don’t tell them what to think or feel—just listen!
